Summary
Once your private page has an authentication method set up, an Authorization tab appears in your workspace settings. From there, you manage three things: who's allowed to sign in (SSO authorization), whether content is locked down to signed-in users only (Secure content), and whether new visitors are automatically subscribed (Subscription behavior).
Steps
Open your LaunchNotes workspace.
Navigate to Authorization in the left-hand menu. This only appears after you've enabled an authentication method for your private page — see Setting up viewer authentication for your published page.
1. SSO authorization
Controls which email domains are allowed to sign in to your private page via SSO.
Click Add allowed email domain and enter your organization's domain (e.g.
@yourcompany.com).Only visitors signing in with an email from an allowed domain can access your page.
Remove a domain anytime from the ⋮ menu next to it. Check the Audit log for a complete list of who has accessed your page.

2. Secure content
Ensures images and full announcement/roadmap content aren't publicly accessible outside of an authenticated session. When enabled, email and Slack notifications switch to excerpts only, and full content and images are only accessible to signed-in users on your page.
Flip the toggle on and confirm when prompted.
Available on Premium plans only, and only on private projects that already require sign-in.

3. Subscription behavior
Controls whether new visitors to your private page are automatically subscribed to email notifications.
Yes, auto-subscribe: New visitors are automatically subscribed on their first visit.
No, don't auto-subscribe (default): Visitors must manually subscribe to receive notifications.
Why auto-subscribe: This helps with adoption and engagement when first introducing your page to your team or customers. Visitors can always unsubscribe or change their preference later by visiting your page.

Note: You must be a workspace Admin to access the Authorization tab.

Important: Secure content is a Premium-plan feature. SSO authorization and Subscription behavior are available on all plans.
