Summary
You can receive automated weekly email summaries of roadmap changes by enabling Roadmap Report emails in your user preferences. These reports show what's been added, updated, moved, or completed on your roadmap, helping keep cross-functional teams aligned on product planning.
Use case: Product managers, engineering leads, and stakeholders use roadmap reports to stay informed about planning changes without constantly checking LaunchNotes. Instead of manually communicating updates you can do it automatically with this email.
Steps
Click on your name in the bottom left corner.
Click on User Preferences from the menu in the lower left corner.
Select the Roadmap Report tab.
Toggle Schedule your roadmap report to turn ON.
Under Rollup day(s), select the day(s) you want to receive your report. Only new changes since the last email will be included.
Under Event(s), select which types of events you want to be notified about:
Owner Changed: When the owner of a roadmap item is reassigned
Team Members Changed: When team members are added or removed from a roadmap item
Categories Updated: When categories are added, removed, or changed on a roadmap item
Delivery Date Updated: When the expected delivery date or timeline changes
Roadmap Item Created: When new items are added to the roadmap
Roadmap Item Moved: When items are moved to different stages or positions
Roadmap Item Archived: When items are archived
Roadmap Item Published: When items are published to your public roadmap
Under Group the Roadmap Report by, choose how to organize your report:
Event Type: Groups all changes by their type (all status changes together, all new items together, etc.)
Roadmap Item: Groups all changes under each individual roadmap item
(Optional) Enable Only send me updates on roadmap items I've subscribed to or I'm a team member of to filter reports to only items you're directly involved with.
Click Update to save your settings.

Notes & important info
Important: Roadmap Report emails are only available to LaunchNotes workspace users (your internal team). These are not sent to your external customers or subscribers.
Note: To enable roadmap reports for multiple projects, you'll need to configure settings separately within each project in LaunchNotes.
Note: Updates to roadmap item descriptions are not included as events in the report.
Note: If there are no updates since your last report, you won't receive an email.
Tip: You can quickly adjust your report settings by clicking "Manage roadmap report settings" at the bottom of any report email you receive.
Troubleshooting
I'm not receiving any reports: Verify that you've enabled reports in the correct project and that there have been roadmap updates since your last scheduled report.
I'm getting too many updates: Enable the subscription-based option to only receive updates for roadmap items you're directly involved with, or adjust which event types are included.
The report doesn't show description changes: Description updates are intentionally excluded from roadmap reports. If you need to track content changes, consider subscribing to specific roadmap items.
I need reports for multiple projects: Navigate to each project separately and enable roadmap reports in the User Preferences for each one.
Can my customers receive these reports?: No, roadmap report emails are only for internal LaunchNotes users. To notify customers about roadmap updates, consider publishing announcements when items are completed.
