Welcome to your LaunchNotes subscription! Whether you are a new or existing subscriber, this guide will help you get familiar with using the workflows we provide to manage your subscription through our platform on your page, including the following:

Announcements

One of the first features you will be able to take advantage of through your LaunchNotes subscription is announcements. Through subscribing to announcement categories we will keep you notified as a subscriber about moments of change in a product that you are interested it. Whether these are singular changes or a group of changes, announcements helps to keep you in the loop about anything that may impact your user experience. This could include a major product release, a bug fix, a feature deprecation, or a monthly roundup. Announcements are flexible and can be categorized via categories by type, area of the product, or any other attribute.

Announcement Categories

Organizing announcements by category makes it easier for you to sort through announcements by filtering them. Categories also empower you as a subscriber to decide which category of announcements you are interested in subscribing to, and therefore receiving notifications about.

Roadmaps

Roadmaps are a visual way to communicate to you what the product team are thinking about building, are in the process of building, and what has already been shipped. You can subscribe to roadmap items to receive email updates on them, leave feedback, or both.

Ideas

Ideas are hand-picked items that are published to the under consideration tab from (typically) product teams that your platform is considering building out in the future. These can include things such as feature enhancements, new features and improvements to the product.

How to Become a Subscriber

In order to become a subscriber and receive notifications about announcements and roadmaps click the Subscribe to updates button. Upon doing so you will be prompted to enter your email address.

Once you click subscribe you will receive an email confirmation, simply click Click here to verify.

You can then choose if you would like to use Email, Slack, or both to receive notifications.

Managing your subscription

Now that you have created an account and verified your email you have the ability to subscribe to announcement categories, roadmap items, vote for ideas under consideration, as well as leave feedback.

To manage your subscription click on the Manage Subscription button. At the top of the next page you can choose how you wish you be notified.

Categories

You can select which categories you would like to subscribe to in order to only receive notifications about the specific categories that you are interested in, as well as delete the one you are no longer interested in.

Subscribing to a Roadmap

If there is a specific roadmap item that you want to receive updates on you can subscribe to it by clicking the Subscribe button on the specific item you are interested in. If you later decide you would like to unsubscribe simply click on Manage Subscription and scroll down to Choose what types of notifications you want to receive, where you can delete the specific roadmap items you no longer wish to receive notifications about.

Roadmap Item Feedback

If there is a specific roadmap item that you like or want to express any feedback about, we give you the ability to click on the specific roadmap item and then submit your feedback.

Ideas: How to Vote and Submit Feedback

With Ideas, we give you the ability to vote as a means to express that you like an idea that the team is considering, as well as clicking on the individual item to submit feedback.

General Feedback

As a subscriber you also have the ability to give feedback or suggestions on anything you see fit. On any of the pages click on Leave Feedback and submit your feedback.
