If feedback is enabled on your LaunchNotes page, users can leave feedback directly on individual announcements. This makes it easy for your audience to share questions, concerns, or praise about product changes — right where they read about them.

How Feedback Works

When viewing a published announcement, users can click the feedback button to open a submission form. They’ll be able to:

  • Include their reaction (Happy, Neutral, or Sad)

  • Share a quick summary or comment

In addition to the user’s input, LaunchNotes automatically analyzes each submission for sentiment using a machine learning model. This sentiment data is available in your Management Portal Dashboard, helping your team spot trends and gauge overall audience response.

Reviewing feedback

You can view all feedback in the Feedback Inbox, accessible from the Feedback & Ideas section of your Management Portal. From there, you can:

  • Filter by announcements feedback

  • Organize, or re-organize feedback into an Idea, Roadmap Item, or Announcement

  • Apply filters for importance and reaction

  • Archive or take action on each submission

Staying Informed

You can receive feedback notifications in two ways:

  • Slack: Install the Slack Announce integration to get real-time feedback alerts in your team’s Slack workspace

  • Email: Enable email notifications in your personal notification settings
