Summary
Pinning an announcement keeps it at the top of your public LaunchNotes page so subscribers always see it first. You can pin up to 5 announcements at a time, and each pin expires automatically on a date you choose.
Steps
Open the published announcement you want to pin.
Navigate to the Content & Settings tab.
In the right-hand panel, click Pin announcement.
In the modal that appears, select an end date — the announcement will remain pinned until the end of that day.
Confirm your timezone, then click Pin announcement.
The announcement will now appear in the Pinned Announcements section at the top of your published page.
NOTE: Pinned announcements are visible to all visitors on your public page, regardless of any category filters they've applied.
Notes & important info
Pinning is available on premium plans only.
You can pin up to 5 announcements at a time.
To update the pin expiration date or unpin an announcement, return to Content & Settings and click Update pinned date. From the modal, you can select a new date or click Unpin to remove it immediately.
When multiple announcements are pinned, they are sorted by published date.
You can see all Announcements that are pinned under Announcements > Pinned.
Troubleshooting
If the Pin announcement option doesn't appear, confirm your workspace is on a premium plan.
If you've already pinned 5 announcements, you'll need to unpin one before pinning another. To unpin, open the announcement, go to Content & Settings, click Update pinned date, and select Unpin — or use the three-dot menu on the Announcements list view.
