This integration lets admins push announcements from any LaunchNotes project into specific Slack channels. For example, when you publish an announcement tagged with "iOS Updates," it posts directly to your #ios-team channel.

Note: If you do not select specific categories All Categories will be sent to the Slack channel
Removing channels
In order to remove a channel navigate back to the Slack app under Settings > Slack Announcements > Slack Channels.
Click on the trash icon and then click delete.
Slackbot Customizations
Customizing the Slackbot name and icon
By default, your Slackbot name will be your page name you set under Settings > Customize page > Name with the LaunchNotes logo. On Premium plans, you can customize the Slackbot name and icon so announcements appear from your company. This is a single setting that controls branding for both Slack Channels and Slack DMs. You configure it once in the Slackbot Customization section.

Troubleshooting
The sender name shown in Slack defaults to your page name (set under Settings > Customize page > General settings) when using LaunchNotes branding.
You can connect multiple channels and assign different categories to each one. For example, route "API" announcements to #engineering and "Mobile" announcements to #mobile-team.
If a Slack channel doesn't appear when connecting, make sure the LaunchNotes app has been added to that channel in Slack first.
If announcements aren't posting to a channel, verify the announcement's categories match the categories assigned to that channel.
If you can't access the Slack integration settings, confirm you have a LaunchNotes admin role.
