The LaunchNotes Slack channel notification integration allows users to send announcements tagged with the specified categories directly to any public or private Slack channel.

From within the LaunchNotes management portal navigate to Settings > Integrations

From here you will see various integrations to select from, navigate to Slack and click connect.

Sign in to your slack workspace

Click Allow to give the LaunchNote Slack app permission to access your Slack workspace.

Once you have the app installed, in Slack add the app to the channels you intend to connect. If you have multiple LaunchNotes apps installed, this is the one with the grey 'L' on a white background.

Option 1: To add the app you can either mention the app in a message @launchnotes

Option 2: Or you can use the command /apps to add the app.

In LaunchNotes click on Connect Channel

Enter the name of the channel(s) where you want to send announcements, and then select the categories you wish to send to this channel. Click Connect.

In order to remove a channel navigate back to the slack app and click configure

Click on the trash icon

Then click Delete
